Boris Ljubičić was born in 1945 in Sinj. He graduated in art in 1968 from the Art Academy in Zagreb. He was the creator of the visual identity of the VIII Mediterranean Games in Split in 1979, whose flag and logo became the permanent symbol of sporting events in Mediterranean countries. His search for a comprehensive solution and broad application was characterized by a move into the future in terms of civilization and education. Since 1990 the most important project he has been involved in, was the creation of a visual identity for the Republic of Croatia. Since 1993 he has been working on the Croata project. He lives and works in Zagreb.
